Dr. Ashwin Naik, MBBS, MS
Ashwin, co-founder of Vaatsalya, has more than 10 years experience in the life sciences and healthcare industry. Prior to founding Vaatsalya, Ashwin was Vice President of Business Development and Informatics, Triesta Sciences, a specialty clinical research organization involved in conducting advanced genomics based research in the field of oncology. Prior to that, he has worked in various capacities at Molecular Connections (Bangalore/Rockville), Celera Genomics (Maryland), Los Alamos National Laboratory (New Mexico) and Genetic Information Research Institute (California).
Ashwin has a medical degree from Karnatak Medical College, Hubli and a masters degree from University of Houston, Texas.

Dr. Veerendra Hiremath, MBBS, MHA
Veeroo, co-founder of Vaatsalya, has extensive experience in the healthcare industry having spent more than 8 years in the field of Hospital Administration. He started his career at Hinduja Hospital, Mumbai and was involved in innovative process engineering initiatives at Hinduja Hospital. Veeroo specializes in Hospital operations and Business development and was instrumental in setting up and managing mid sized / large tertiary care Hospitals in Bangalore, Kolkata and Tinsukia, Assam. In addition, he has also led Healthcare IT projects in large hospitals - Hospital Information systems & MIS systems at Hinduja Hospitals, Mumbai and Enterprise level implementation at Ministry Hospitals, Malaysia.
He received his medical degree from Karnatak Medical College, Hubli & Masters degree from Hinduja Institute of Healthcare management Hyderabad (affiliated to Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, USA).

Dr. V Renganathan, PhD, MBA (Co-Founder and VP, Alliances and Special Projects)
Renganathan is a scientist turned manager with strong interests in healthcare delivery, pharmaceuticals, and biotechnology. He also brings a wealth of experience from academic as well corporate settings. Previously, he was Program Manager at Intel and then Intel’s spin-off Convera. There he coordinated establishment of a $2 M video digitization facility in collaboration with NBA. Also designed an interactive online service for cricket, which allowed fans to select and play video highlights of their choice from a match. He is also the founder of Biotech Wizard, a development stage company focused on knowledge process outsourcing for the bioscience industry.
Renganathan was an associate professor in Biochemistry at the Oregon Graduate Institute of Science and Technology (OGI), Portland, Oregon, USA where he graduated six PhDs, published forty-five papers in international journals and received one US patent.
Renganathan holds a PhD (Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore) and an MBA (Portland State University, Portland, Oregon, USA).

Rocky Philip, MBA (Co-Founder and VP, Business Development and Marketing)
Rocky specializes in Marketing Management and drives the expansion plan, marketing initiatives and branding for Vaatsalya. Prior to joining Vaatsalya in 2005, Rocky has extensive experience in pharmaceutical marketing and was responsible for building doctor network and relationship management at Sandoz, Novartis, Panacea Biotech

Bheemanna Ganti BE (Co-Founder and Head, Infrastructure Development)
Engineer with more than 7 years experience in Infrastructure development in government and private setting. Passionate about quality and a prolific networker, Ganti handles all infrastructure development and maintenance aspects at Vaatsalya Hospitals.
